How will the DAM solution be managed once it has been deployed?  Essentially, these are the answers from the deployment phase questions:

  • This resource will manage user access and user accounts
  • These users will upload (ingest)
  • These resources will perform training
  • These resources will manage defects, enhancements, releases

Who will perform testing?

Will a full support group be required?  Will global regions need to be supported?

How will new product releases be managed?  Who will test?

Will the support team be insourced or outsourced?

Roadmapping

The DAM solution provides all current needs, but what might be on the horizon?  Which features would enhance the capabilities of the DAM solution?

Site Audit

A Site Audit will document all the assets within an organization’s digital properties to ensure all assets in service are available within the DAM.

This service can be performed any time.  The organization provides a list of all digital properties- including global properties – and HartTalbot will scour the sites and report as to whether or not they exist within the DAM.  The more digital assets that reside in the DAM, the better chance that others will find and re-use the assets.
